Lowkey was born Cory Harris in Hattiesburg, MS. Unsure of the future, he tried college for a year and a half, before things took a turn. "I always had a love for music", says Cory, "I hooked up with afro 4 years ago and started making beats for him and soon started rapping." Two years later this lead to the creation of his own record My Thoughts which will be released later this year on Hungry Hustler Records and distributed nationwide through Redeye.
